These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the architecture.co.uk website ("the Website") provided by Architecture.co.uk Limited ("Architecture"). By using the Website you are indicating your acceptance of these Terms. Architecture may change the Terms at any time by putting amended Terms on the Website. If you do not accept these Terms please do not use this website.

The information and images contained on the Website are the property of Architecture and are protected by copyright laws. All software and images used on this website are the property of Architecture or our software suppliers and are protected by copyright laws. Unless the conditions below are met, the content of the Website may not be distributed, modified or reproduced in whole or in part without the prior written permission of Architecture.
You may print materials from the Website on the following conditions:
- you must use the material only in connection with finding personal employment and career information and not for any commercial or business purposes;
- material must not be used in a derogatory manner or in any manner which may adversely affect Architecture's business or reputation.
Information that you provide
The following applies to any information you provide to us including, but not limited to, CVs:
- you authorise us to use, store, copy or otherwise process any personal information which relates to and identifies you, including but not limited to your name, address and qualifications ("Personal Information") to the extent reasonably necessary to provide your details to employers and recruiters who have posted vacancies on the Website ("the Purposes") who will then contact you directly in relation to your application;
- you must ensure that the Personal Information you provide is accurate and complete. For more information about how we deal with your Personal Information, please read our privacy policy;
- you must not post any material that is defamatory, obscene or illegal. If you breach this term you undertake to indemnify and keep indemnified Architecture against all costs, claims, losses, damages and expenses (including without limitation legal and other fees and expenses) that it incurs which arise out of such breach.
- Architecture will monitor information posted on the Website and reserves the right to remove any material that is posted on the Website at any time without notice.
Intellectual Property
Architecture owns intellectual property rights in the Website and you must not use any of Architecture's intellectual property without Architecture's prior written permission. This includes, without limitation, trade marks, database rights, rights in designs, rights in know-how, patents and rights in inventions, whether registered or unregistered. You may not use any meta tags or any other hidden text using Architecture's names or trade marks without prior written permission.
Information Gathering
You may not use any data gathering or data extraction tools, such as robots, on the Website without the prior written permission of Architecture.

The Website is a forum for employers and recruiters to provide details of vacancies and for prospective candidates ("Candidates") to post CVs. Architecture is not a party to the dealings between employers and recruiters and Candidates for vacancies save for initially forwarding details of Candidates to employers and recruiters. Architecture does not warrant that the information on the Website is accurate or complete, including but not limited to employer and recruiter details, and is not responsible for checking that information is accurate or complete. While Architecture has taken care in preparing the contents of the Website and except as set out below, Architecture does not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, loss of anticipated revenues, loss of business opportunities, loss of goodwill, loss of data or damage to reputation. Nothing in these Terms shall operate to limit or exclude Architecture's liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by Architecture's negligence;
- damage suffered by you as a result of any breach by Architecture of the condition as to title under Part 1 of the Consumer Protection Act 1987;
- breach of the warranty as to quiet possession implied by Section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or Section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982; or
- for fraud (including, but not limited to, fraudulent misrepresentation). Architecture does not guarantee that access to and use of the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free. From time to time Architecture may suspend or restrict access to the Website in order to carry out repairs or maintenance or to introduce new facilities. Mention of third party products, services, companies and websites on the Website is for information purposes only and constitutes neither an endorsement nor a recommendation. Please note that all third party products must be ordered directly from the third party.
The Website contains links to websites run by other organisations. While every effort is made to check the content and accuracy of the Websites Architecture links to, Architecture takes no responsibility for information contained on websites maintained by other organisations or for action taken as a result of information contained on websites maintained by other organisations.

To access certain parts of the Website you must register and obtain a user name and access password ("User Details") from Architecture. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your User Details and must not disclose them to any third party.
You accept full responsibility for disclosures of your User Details or other passwords issued by Architecture. You must notify Architecture immediately by email to support@architecture.co.uk of any unauthorised use of your User Details or any other breach of security.
Architecture reserves the right at any time to block your account and restrict your access to the restricted section(s) of the Website. If your account is blocked please telephone 0870 458 9262 or send an email to support@architecture.co.uk to reactivate it. Architecture is under no obligation to reactivate your account.
Privacy
Architecture will keep your information confidential and will lawfully use, store and disclose any personal data provided by you in accordance with its obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 (as amended). Architecture may disclose or share your personal information with prospective employers and its business partners in order to provide career and employment services to you and your use of the Website constitutes consent for such use.
Use of Cookies

Cookies allow website operators to accumulate useful information, such as whether the computer (and sometimes its user) has visited the site before. From the options on the left-hand side, select 'Advanced', which will bring up another menu. Halfway down you will see a section on cookies. To turn cookies off, select 'Disable' and click on the 'OK' button at the bottom of the menu box.
Netscape 6.0: On the top menu, select 'Tasks' and then 'Privacy and Security'. From here you can block or unlock cookies from this site, or view and remove cookies and prevent your computer from accepting cookies from selected sites in the future.
Framing
You may not frame or otherwise extract or utilise the Website or any part or page of it without Architecture's prior written permission.
Severance
If any provision in these Terms is declared void or unenforceable by any court or other body of competent jurisdiction, or is otherwise rendered so by any applicable law, such provision shall to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability be deemed severable and all other provisions of these Terms not affected by such invalidity or unenforceability shall remain in full force and effect.
Waiver
No delay or failure by Architecture in enforcing any provision in these Terms shall be deemed to be a waiver or create a precedent or in any way prejudice Architecture's rights under these Terms.
Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
