Design Leader and Architect £Negotiable - freelance hourly rate with view to full time employment after 6 months Clear Water Revival are leading the way in the exciting and fast growing UK market for Natural Swimming Pools, ECO Design and complete NaturalSpa Pool Developments. We are looking for a landscape architect or an architectural designer (with interests and experience with landscapes), qualified to at least RIBA part II, and with at least 2 years industry experience. Your design acumen, previous construction management experience and entrepreneurial flair will be required in an innovative and creative role to meet existing demand and helping take the business UK wide. We are initially looking to work with candidates on a freelance basis with the view to employing on a fulltime basis later in the year. The position will then hold great potential in shared strategic responsibility for the company. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Production of concept sketch designs through to detailed construction plans, including sections and elevations of projects; Product development including production of 3D drawings of product components ready for manufacture; Driving and improving our sales processes; Management of the construction phase through to project completion and sign off, This will include site visits, construction project management & customer liaison; Construction drawings for tender process; Presentation of your design concepts to customers, as well as the promotion of any new designs to potential clients; Design of buildings & structures to accompany pool and spa construction projects, including ECO Lodges and pool houses. The following Key Skills and Experience will be vital to this role: Qualified to architectural degree level Part II (Part 3 not essential), or degree in Landscape architecture; DTP Skills In Design, Pagemaker, Photoshop, Illustrator; Proficient in Autocad / SketchUp / (and/or) Vectorworks/Allplan/Microstation; Computer literate in MS Office inc Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Good understanding of planning, design, procurement and construction processes; Strong skills and keen interest in sustainable, low energy building design; Confident ability to sketch by hand and produce high quality hand-rendered concept sketches, as well as 3D CAD visualisations; An obvious flair for design and attention to detail, supported by a strong portfolio of your own previous work; Experience of construction in the built environment, knowledge of current construction techniques and management of the tender process; Dynamic personality with an outgoing, personable and customer centred attitude; Highly organised with the ability to work under your own initiative; Excellent ability to listen to clients needs and interpret these needs into a bespoke design while adhering to client budgets and expectations; Good commercial awareness and sales skills; Ability to speak German is deemed an asset; Landscape architecture experience is deemed an asset. We are looking for a landscape architect or an architectural designer (with interests and experience with landscapes), qualified to at least RIBA part II, and with at least 2 years industry experience.
