Technical Manager – Passive Fire Protection, Acoustic & Thermal insulation products Siderise are a UK market leader in the supply of passive fire protection (for the purpose of fire compartmentation in facades, raised access floor & ceiling voids), along with innovative acoustic solutions and general thermal insulation products to the construction industry. Primary areas of application include: Curtain Walling, Rain Screens, Raised Access Floors and ‘top of wall’ conditions. We seek a person with full understanding of building regulations who will; · Manage company’s technical files – specifications, performance data, drawings, standard technical responses, performance testing, etc. · Monitor regulatory changes that affect our business, both in UK and recognised export markets. · Respond to complex technical enquiries and propose suitable technical solutions · Carry out client/specifier technical presentations · Provide product training in support of our sales team · Support development of technical literature to support the sale of our products · Manage our new product introduction process · Manage product testing · Be the company representative at various trade associations such as ASFP, etc.. · Be keen to travel – we are currently represented in UAE and Europe and some element of technical support is required by these markets.
