Urban Design jobs in North East
With ambitious regeneration and development projects in the pipeline, our new Head of Design, Conservation and Sustainable Development will need to take a proactive leadership role in urban design in the city. This post is responsible for a broad range of service areas including architecture and design, conservation, listed buildings, areas of archaeological importance, local nature reserves, and community planning from the Local Development Framework to the Sustainable Community Strategy. Joining a high profile directorate, you will interface with the public and partners on a regular basis. We are therefore looking for candidates with a successful track record in urban design work, preferably as a registered architect, and the ability to develop strong working relationships with a broad range of colleagues and stakeholders.
