Job Content As project architect you will have the overall responsibility for management and design development. You will collaborate closely with the partner-in-charge and delegate the right tasks to the right colleagues. You will be will expected to bring your know-how of the UK market to work with other schmidt hammer lassen members, external design team consultants, contractors, subcontractors, local authorities; compile information for work packages, tender documents, CPD requirements, and participate in site visits and supervision. As complexity increases in the projects, you professionally maintain a constructive attitude, while you continue to identify the appropriate problem solving procedure. Qualification and Skills You have extensive experience with leading and developing projects in the UK. You are able to use project management and organisational principles, such as resource, client and risk management. Previous experience has provided you with excellent leadership and communication skills, and you know how to manage project teams with up to 10 members. In addition to your office experience you should preferably be a skilled AutoCad and Microsoft Office user, and the ideal candidate has previous experience with sustainable design. Work Place You will be working in our central London office and report to the international design manager, but you can also expect to work closely with other and key resources in the practice. Some travel activity can be expected, but we actively encourage a positive work-life balance, and therefore we make use of the latest IT (like video link), to optimise our time across national borders and contribute to a healthier environment.
